I saw that there is a similar thread on this but in German.

We currently sell baking tools and the items are made of stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel which are all metals. I checked the EUDR compliance guidelines and it states that:

"The EUDR requires all operators and traders to ensure compliance for certain commodities, and certain products made from these commodities: cattle, cocoa, coffee, palm oil, rubber, soy, and wood. These products must be both deforestation-free and produced in accordance with all relevant laws of the country of production, including environmental and human rights laws."

Based on the above, we are not supposed to be included. I created a case on Amazon and here is the response:

1. Can someone please explain how the EUDR compliance is relevant to Amazon Invoicing? It does not make sense.
2. Why would being enrolled in Invoice by Amazon service, make our products eligible for EUDR compliance requirements?
3. Furthermore, the response says that: When you enroll in this service, all eligible offers are opted in by default. The EUDR is a compliance regulation NOT an offer.
4. What should be our next steps? Since we are not really covered by the compliance regulation, what will happen if we disregard the notice?
5. If we do acknowledge the compliance, will it affect our account because our categories might change. This may create problems in the future if we declare we are compliance with certain materials but do not really have them. It's the same as not being truthful.

Would appreciate Amazon's quick response on this.
