Urgent Assistance Needed: Business address/office address is different to company registered address/established address

Hi, everyone, I am a Chinese Seller. can anybody can give me some suggestion?

Currently my account is under verification and restricted and FBA stock are stranded

The reason is "The business location that you entered in Seller Central when you registered your account does not match the country of incorporation of the company in the business documents that you provided. Please register a new account with a new email address, make sure to select the correct business location, and upload business documents that match the business location."

Our Business address is currently our warehouse/office address:Hangzhou China

Our company is a HK based company, Registered adress/Established address: HongKong China

We rented warehouse/office in Hangzhou, so our Business addresss is Hangzhou, different to the company established adress of HongKong.

Office/Warehouse address is different to the “establishment address/company register address”, this is normal. Most of company's office address is different to the establishment address

Since we started sell on amazons, so many years (around 8 years) it is the same, we don't make any changement.

Currently my account is limited, stop selling... I can not do anything, and I don't know what to do....... It is really urgent for me, can somebody help me and give me some suggestions?

if you're selling under your company's name, then your business location should be Hong Kong, not China.

Too bad you can't change your business location. Sorry to say you're screwed by Amazon.

I had called the account health seller support, but they are not seller verification team and can not do anything, only promise to pass my appeal as a case. But nobody from seller verification team look at the case. Really a headache

Is this for the US marketplace? If so, it sounds as though you are needing to undergo the Inform Act verification process. You will need to go through the verification process by accessing the Account Info page and clicking on the link inside a banner you may be seeing from that page.

Prior to doing this, you will want to ensure all of your information within your account is accurate. You will want to check your business address, ID information, and banking information for this verification process.

"We can not change the business address."

You can edit the business address by going to your Account Info page, clicking on the "Business address" option, then choose "Add a new address". Once you have the correct address on the account, you can then go through the verification workflow.

We are Hongkong Company. Robot declare "The business location that you entered in Seller Central when you registered your account does not match the country of incorporation of the company in the business documents that you provided", Verification Failed, all greyed out, no hyperlinks to do verification or anything or appeal, the only choice given is "contact seller support"

Why the verification failed, I awared later: Our company is HK company, when I did "Identity Verification" , I chosen the country location "China", instead of "China HongKong", then I fail the verification.

And starting from May 22,2023, my us. and ca. account was stopped selling and all FBA inventries were stranded

Since from May 22,2023, the "Identity verification" has no entry, all grey, I can not do anything

This really disasters for me, everydays passed means higher business debts. I panic, I create the case on May 22, but almost 20days, no seller support appear, no one care about

My appeal is that I need amazon reopen the "Identity Verification" entry, so I can do re-verification (to change the country location to "China HongKong")

Troy here again. Do you have an update regarding your verification issues? The verification process has been very fluid with constant updates. If you were able to submit the information, then continue to monitor both your Account Info and Case Log pages for further updates. You should be able to make the change to the Honk Kong option now as this known issue has been resolved.

For your information, my account situation updated as following:

On June 16, I choose country "Hong Kong" without changing anything else (actually there is no link for me to change documents and amending names etc...) and submit for, and the next day I received mail from amazon "We have completed verifying your identity" and my selling privillages restored

But 5days passed the seller central never changed: it still shows unverified (except "Bank Account Verification (Verified)" ):

Actually, Seller Identity Verified, Phone Number Verified, Bank Account Verified, Business Address Verified.

In seller central account information, only shows bank account verified, others all unverified. These are glitch. Can you kindly help to check?

Furthermore, the most important for me is currently there is no entry (hyperlinks) to do Tax Verification. I open Account info >> Tax Information >> Tax Information, only shows "Tax information is complete"

There is no link to do tax verification (to upload tax TIN etc...), Only on Jun.2, I renew and signed the tax information interview, it is W-8BEN form.

Would you pls be so kind to check and give me the link to do tax verification? or give me suggestions how to do under the current sitiation?

As the time is approaching Jun.27 day by day, I am worrying

There may be a delay to the banners coming off your page due to the current case volume, but the message you received regarding your successful verification is correct.

The additional screenshots you have provided show that the other options are currently not hyperlinked. This would indicate that no further action is needed at this time. For your information, my account situation updated as following:

On June 16, I choose country "Hong Kong" without changing anything else (actually there is no link for me to change documents and amending names etc...) and submit for, and the next day I received mail from amazon "We have completed verifying your identity" and my selling privillages restored

But 5days passed the seller central never changed: it still shows unverified (except "Bank Account Verification (Verified)" ):

Actually, Seller Identity Verified, Phone Number Verified, Bank Account Verified, Business Address Verified.

In seller central account information, only shows bank account verified, others all unverified. These are glitch. Can you kindly help to check?

Furthermore, the most important for me is currently there is no entry (hyperlinks) to do Tax Verification. I open Account info >> Tax Information >> Tax Information, only shows "Tax information is complete"

There is no link to do tax verification (to upload tax TIN etc...), Only on Jun.2, I renew and signed the tax information interview, it is W-8BEN form.

Would you pls be so kind to check and give me the link to do tax verification? or give me suggestions how to do under the current sitiation?

As the time is approaching Jun.27 day by day, I am worrying

Please make sure to save the screenshot you have provided and the message saying the verification was successful. There may be a delay to the banners coming off your page due to the current case volume, but the message you received regarding your successful verification is correct.

The additional screenshots you have provided show that the other options are currently not hyperlinked. This would indicate that no further action is needed at this time. Please continue to monitor this Account Info page for further updates. If a hyperlink does appear from this page, you will need to take action at that time.
