How to get return shipping reimbursed?
I am Fulfilled by Merchant. I had a return due to received too late. The expected delivery dates given to the customer at the time of purchase was April 4th-6th. It was delivered on the 4th so how could it have arrived too late?? So I go to make a safety claim and I'm told this order isn't eligible. So how do I get reimbursed for the return shipping I was charged? the customers are putting this so they get free returns but I shouldn't have to pay if they are not telling the truth. Any help? This has been the scenario twice now and both times the item was delivered on the first expected by date.

This is a common scam b uyers play on sellers. It works because Amazon has trained their buyers to make it work.
- If you purchased your shipping thru Amazon, you should be able to file a safety claim. to recoup your loss.
- If you purchase shipping off site, then you are on your own, and with any complaint Amazon will refund from your account with no chance of recouping anything.
Savey sellers know this and can tell where the postage was printed, on sit or off site. This makes the off-site shipping purchase an almost sure free product because Amazon never takes the time to check the actual facts. It is the corporate mentality at its finest.

"Arrived too late" doesn't always mean that it arrived after the due date; it could also mean that the Seller just needed it sooner. Sellers shouldn't get penalized by having to eat the cost of return shipping if the item arrives within the estimated delivery window. Unfortunately, according to Amazon's Return Reasons Codes, 'Arrived too late' is Seller-faulted.
Did you refund manually, or did Amazon refund the order?

Hi @Seller_vIX3XpYvep837,
Thanks for reaching out! I see you have already received some great advice from other Sellers in the replies here - so happy to see this!
I'd also encourage you to check out this help page for more information on submitting your Safe-T claim for this. Also, please note these two important details when filing your claim:
- In your claim, provide detail as to why you believe Amazon should reimburse you. For example, if you are disputing a cancellation penalty fee, explain what happened and provide documentation that supports your claim.
- Attach all necessary supporting documentation, and then click Submit SAFE-T Claim. You will receive an email confirming receipt of your claim.
I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
