"Pick-up Rate is not included with the rate"
Good morning everyone!
Before I explain my issue, I'd just like to mention that I've been selling for almost 2 years on Amazon US for FBA and this is the first time I've had to deal with this since that time;
Up until about a week ago (or so), everytime I arranged a pickup from one of my distributors, I could prepare the entire shipping process with the "Send-To Amazon workflow", from A-Z, including the shipping pickup. But since about a week and a half ago, all my shipments carried through UPS, now mention at the final step, that "pick-up cost is not included with the rate", forcing me to arrange a pick-up manually on UPS' website, adding an extra shipping fee that I never had to account for in the past.
So up until recently, UPS would also come pick up my boxes as part of the rate, but now for the same price that I would have payed before for the whole shipping process, I also need to manually arrange the pick-up for an extra fee. I haven't seen any other seller mention this on the forum so I have to figure this might be a mistake on my end.
If anybody has any idea on what caused this change or if there's anyway to get pickup cost included in the rate, I would very much appreciate it!

We've NEVER had UPS pickup costs included in our shipments to Amazon (and we've been doing this for over a decade). Just create an account with UPS and set up the pickup. There are several options from one time pickup, to daily pickups - each with different prices.

Thanks for posting! As the previous comment mentioned, creating an account with UPS to set the pickup may be the new normal. I reviewed the recent News announcements in the forums to see if there was anything related to this but it doesn't appear there were any announcements about this. I'll search around to find if there was a specific root cause for this, and be on the look out for any related threads.
