My debit card was charged while not accepting my debit card for the account and the account still isn't active. I'm trying to get a refund. This is Poop customer service! How on earth aren't we able to call in or chat.

A debit card can and will be charged if used for fees. A valid credit card is needed to list and sell on Amazon.

While there are still places in Amazon documentation that states "Debit Card", the hard reality is that you need a true Credit card.
Add a real Credit card to your account (add it to the buyer side first; then wait until it shows up as a choice on the Seller side a few hours later). Then delete the unneeded Debit card. That should take care of things.

While a pending charge can appear on the card that doesn't mean it went through. Those usually fall off in couple of days depending on your bank.

I do recommend that you use a credit card instead of a debit card, also call your bank and see if they flagged the transaction, as that can often cause our system to reject the card if the bank doesn't authorize the transaction.
