Creating Multi-Pack Listing
Hello All,
I am currently wholesaling on AMZ and I am trying to create a multipack listing for a branded product I already sell the single for. The product has a upc but I am having troubles listing the two-pack by using the same upc. I am currently approved by Amazon for the Catalog Authorization of this brand but I have questions for the best way to go about this.
Should I apply for a GTIN? (was not sure because it seems more related to bundle packs vs multipacks)
Should I purchase a barcode from gs1 for this multipack and use that?
I want to use the original UPC, I can make a variation for the single, but its listing really sucks. I am selling this product in grocery and gourmet. Any advice or suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

That is a policy violation.

Hi @Caswill,
Thanks for the post.
Please note that you can't use the same UPC and you must get permission from the brand to list your own UPC.
Obtain your UPCs directly from GS1 and not from other third parties selling UPC licenses. All invalid product UPC listings will be removed and may result in your ASIN creation or selling privileges being temporarily or permanently removed.
Including a quick read on UPC Guidelines for multi-packs.
Best regards,
