Amazon damaged my products!

Amazon stated my items could not be sold, so they returned them to me.

(There are 15+ other amazon stores selling the exact same item as me, but that is a story for another day...)

So Amazon returned 56 out of the 98 units I shipped to them, and they shipped them back so carelessly that all of the units are damaged in some way, some are no longer sellable due to the damages... Now customer support is trying to avoid remibersment saying that they will not pay for damages caused by a customer... Amazon never sold these, no one ever purchased them, Amazon returned these soley on Amazons behalf, completely damaged...

Is anyone else experiencing issues like this? I feel I will have to take this to court to get a proper resolution due to the incompetent customer services reps, even after asking to speak to a manager or higher up!

If the items were customer returns, Amazon will not pay for customer damaged items (has been that way forever iirc). BUT, if they were never shipped to customers and received at FBA in sellable condition, you should be able to get reimbursed.

To create a case/reply for this issue simply state the facts and include screenshots. You shipped X units to FBA. They were received in sellable condition. You asked for a removal and what was returned was damaged. Show photos of the shipping box, shipping label, packing slip, and damage.

And about taking Amazon to court -- you may want to read the agreement you signed. You agreed to binding arbitration.

at best you can take it to arbitration. You agreed NOT to take these things to court. Last time I did FBA, years ago now, more than half of what I got back was destroyed.....
