Brand Approval Request
I have applied for brand approval several times and I keep facing the same issue. I have all the required documents. My brand is two word name, when I get the 5665 error, it says the following: 5665: Request approval for “My brand name"
The brand name you have entered has not been approved by Amazon. Request approval here by submitting an application for “My brand name” and Amazon will review it. Once approved, you will be able to use this brand name in your product listing.
But once i send it, the amazon associates deny my request because on their end only one word of the two shows up as my brand name. I've typed it out correctly, and on my end it shows up as the correct name. Im not sure how to proceed because I keep getting the same generic response, when I've detailed out what is happening. Can someone please help me, don't know what else to. Thank You

First ... review the following in Seller University
- Have your images ready. The images must be "real world images" which means the images must be of your product and/or product packaging held in your hand or on a table and can be taken with a cell phone. When taking the images, take various angles and make sure the brand and GS1 UPC code are clearly visible. Images from a website, manufacturer's website or the images submitted with the listing will not be accepted.
- Make sure your application has the brand name with the correct upper/lower case spelling and that any spacing and special characters are as represented on the product and/or product packing.
- Labeling on the product and/or product packing must comply with US laws for your particular product. Labeling must be permanently affixed to the product and/or product packing. Avery style labels attached to the product and/or product packaging are not accepted (note - there are only a few category/product exceptions to this requirement).
Once your brand is accepted by Amazon as a brand, we suggest taking the next step and getting your brand as a registered trademark with USPTO.

I have done that, but the problem I'm facing is that when I apply from my end, I type the brand name is Bricks & Honey, but for some reason on their end it only shows up as Bricks. I've tried this several times. Not sure what to do now

It seems the system is kicking it out because of the ampersand.
Hopefully a mod will stumble onto this thread and be able to help you as your case numbers are in the images and that is what would be needed to assist you.
Unfortunately, it is the weekend so it might be Monday before one sees this thread.

You are already pretty much doing what is needed. @Sandy_Amazon has reached out to others in this section of the forum (Brand Registry questions).
Since the system is kicking out the ampersand and everything after, it is probably going to take some intervention by a mod.
Let's post your case numbers to make it easiest for Sandy
- case 12130939881
- case 12060702491
The only thing we can have you do while you wait through the weekend is to spend time in the Seller Help pages learning as much as you can.
Here is a spot on Amazon Brand Name Policy
