There is a tool called Browse Tree Guides that helps to identify the correct categories for the products. Please visit Classify your products using Browse Tree Guides for more information.

yes, go to edit the asin, *Recommended Browse Node is on the first tab "Product Details", just below manufacturer and brand ;) . That should show even if you just select 'required Attributes' on left of screen, but if you ever cant find detail on an asin page, try setting that to "All Attributes" and it'll show you every bit of possible product info under the sun hehehe

note... Amazon sometimes moves the asin to a diff browse node depending on Bot opinions of the product which over ride your recommended node. In that case you should be able to bring product page up as a customer would see it and look at the browse node/department its in at top of screen
