Downgrade Amazon Professional account to individual
I'm looking to downgrade my professional account to an individual one. Currently, I have about 6 to 12 units active as FBA inventory. Since the subscription fee is charged monthly, I want to avoid being charged while I search for new products. I plan to upgrade again in the future. Could you please assist me with this?

You have to downgrade your own account.

1. On the top right click on the circle thing that looks like a gear.
2. Click on Account Info.
3. On the left side of your screen you will see a section labeled "account info"
4. Look down slowly until you see a section called "Your Services".
5. Click on the blue "Manage" button in this section.
6. Click on the service on the top left that says "Selling on Amazon".
7. Locate the section labeled as "Americas". Select "Individual" for all markets.
8. Scroll down slowly until you see the blue button labeled "Apply Changes".

Change of selling plan may trigger a requirement to go through verification again.

Thank you for reaching out. I see that our wonderful community has provided some excellent tips and suggestions. Before I go into how to downgrade your account, I implore you to review the professional selling plan and maker sure it is the best fit for you and your company. Keep in mind future sales, potential upticks, etc.
You can choose to downgrade your account from a Professional selling plan to an Individual selling plan, if you don't want to be charged a monthly subscription fee.
- On the Seller Account Information page, in the Your Services section on the left, click Manage.
- Note: If you don't see the option to modify your selling plan, you may need to close other accounts. Please see Accounts that require a Professional selling plan below before moving to the next step.
- On the My Services page, click Downgrade located in the Sell on Amazon section.
- Review the terms on the next page, then click Confirm Selling Plan Change to accept the terms and switch your plan.
