Account now re-verified but still showing as deactivated

Hi
So basically I was deactivated last week as needed to provide a letter from HMRC. I’ve now submitted that and had the confirmation email that my selling account has been verified and I can now sell on Amazon.
However my account is still showing as deactivated so I cannot resume work/trading. Is there sometimes a delay to the deactivation being lifted? Thanks

Hello @ADW_Retail,

Virgil here to assist.

Based on your post I understand you’ve submitted documents for verification of your identity and tax details, and after receiving confirmation about reactivation, your account remains deactivated.

My goal is to give you further guidance on the next steps.

Once we receive all of the required information, we will proceed with the verification of your account. Verification could take up to 10 days; however, it may take longer in some situations based on the complexity of the account.

You may be allowed to start selling on Amazon while the information you have provided at registration is being verified, subject to certain limits. Depending on certain criteria, we may require that you provide all the required information and that this information is verified before we open your selling account. In this case, you will not be able to start selling on Amazon until the information that you have provided has been verified and your account has successfully completed verification.

For more details, kindly visit Information required to sell on Amazon.

Furthermore, in order to get an in-depth understanding of your issue, we would request you to kindly share the latest performance notification, and any other relevant details.

The forums community and I are here to support you. Please let us know how we can help you from this point forward.

Best Regards,
Virgil.

Hi

I am in exactly the same situation as this.

Was deactivated and requested same as you HMRC document.

Confirmed verified and can sell again but deactivated still.

How long did it take for the account to reactivate after the verified notification?
