FBA Shipment Barcode Guidelines
I am correct in interpreting the FBA label requirements that for products that have a FNSKU barcode are no longer eligible to also have a manufacturer barcode (UPC)?
We have been sending and selling my branded product (with no co-mingling) with UPC and FNSKU barcodes for years with no issues, but now I am getting warnings and am getting Standard coaching on this item.
It is my interpretatation of the automated coaching warnings that my UPC barcode needs to be removed. Is there a way to fix this without covering the manufacturer's UPC barcode?

The FNSKU label needs to cover up the UPC barcode.

If you sent it to FBA with the barcode preference set to Amazon barcode for that SKU, then yes, you need to cover the UPC so that the only scannable barcode is the FNSKU.
My understanding of comingling is that your inventory is comingled with that of other sellers, not that you can send in inventory using both the UPC and the FNSKU. The barcode preference is set at the SKU level, so it is possible that you can have one SKU for an ASIN set to manufacturer's barcode and another SKU for the same ASIN set to Amazon barcode. However, you cannot use both Amazon and manufacturer's barcodes for the same SKU.

FNSKU's that start with B********* are comingled as that FNSKU is the ASIN.
FNSKU's that start with X are not comingled as each seller is X01******, X02*******, X03******* and so on.

Depending on what you have the item set to: the UPC must be covered with the Amazon label. I'd recommend to check your settings. If you want the UPC of the item to be used at check in for FBA, then you would need to have manufacturer upc selected instead of "use Amazon label".
