2 Different Seller Accounts / Selling the same items for OA, FBM
Hello I have a question about having a second Amazon account. I have read Amazon's policies and it mentions you cannot sell the same items on your other account. What does this mean exactly. Is it possible to be suspended if I were to have sold that product on my old account in the past but now I want to sell it on my second account instead of my 1st account?
Also which of these options goes against the policy? "Whats counts as selling the same items"?
Option 1: On my first account put stock to 0, I don’t delete listing from my account but it’s set as inactive then I proceed to list on my other account.
Option 2: Delete the listing completely from first account and only sell on my other account
Option 3: I would put my store in vacation mode making all items on my first store inactive then I list & sell on my other account?
I need to understand by what it means by not selling the same items. I'm trying to understand If this just means I can't sell the same items on both accounts at the same exact time but rather I can have liberty in choosing to stop selling that product on the old account and start selling it on my second account?
This is specifically for FBM online arbitrage!

Make sure it has been deleted from your first account at least 24 hours before listing it on the second, having 0 quantity is NOT the same as deleting it from your inventory.
It means you cannot have the same item in both account's inventory, no matter the quantity. The accounts can also NEVER interact in any way shape or form, such as buying from the other's competitor or alike.
The products should not even be the same type of product, as Amazon expects you to have a good reason as to why you need a separate account, such as having a new brand or totally different type products. (Like a toy store that now wants to sell books as well...or someone that registers s brand in brand registry and creates a separate account for that brand)

Hello @Seller_ktKiZdcdU3Mip,
Michelle at Amazon here. @Seller_4zBzdtgCyS9EI has provided you with some great information. You can only have 2 accounts if you sell items in two different categories, such as you sell clothing in one and tools in the other and it doesn't make sense to have your storefront for clothing as 'Franks Fix It Supplies' or whatever your tool store name would be. If you are moving items to a new account due to this, ensure that you fully delete the information, including images for your items. Images must be deleted from your account, however, you can use a file to delete the data information quickly.
Follow the instructions in the link provided above that state:
Delete both your offers and item data contributions.
Enter an "x" in the add-delete field in your Inventory Loader file. This will completely remove all data associated with your SKU.
I hope this information is helpful.
Regards,
Michelle
