Lost inventory, no reimbursement... how is this legal?!

I listed an item on Amazon and sent my first $90k of inventory for FBA.

While in transit, Amazon de-listed my product, saying it is now a restricted category. We spent months trying to jump through a series of ever-changing hoops to get the product relisted. We were able to provide every single piece of paperwork they requested, but it didn't matter. Utlimately, there was nothing we could do to get the product re-listed.

So, we asked Amazon to send us the inventory back. It was at this point that Amazon revealed they had LOST all of our inventory.

Now, Amazon is saying they can't submit a reimbursment claim, because the product isn't listed. So, basically they stole $90k of our inventory, and there's nothing we can do?!

Does anyone have any ideas on how we can get our inventory back or get reimbursed for what they lost?

That sounds like you have to look for a specialized Amazon attorney and make him contact Amazon's Legal Departement.

And calling his store "Donald J. Trump" shows that you have no idea about Intellectual Property.

So, if you want really some advice you have to copy and paste here Amazon's answer.

How do you think Amazon got so big it was not by playing fair. You dance with the FBA devil you will always get burned! But 90k on first order you were almost asking for it as it used to be Amazon recommends no more than $1500 per box and all it took was 1 time out of thousands of shipments we made for them to say they did not receive and deal with a month of invoices to NEVER EVER use FBA again! All it took was 1 Bad FBA shipment for us to shift business focused on Amazon to building up other markets as a platform with Chat Bots for support is BS!

Stop using Scamazon !!!

We experienced the same lost inventory, NO reimbursements, lost only $1500 in products with FBA. The 1st couple FBA shipments went fine and we sold products. We thought this was great at 1st. So we ramped it up a bit. This was in 2020. Every product was always properly packaged and Barcoded. Then all of a sudden they were losing inventory and we stopped sending to FBA. There was 1 incident when a customer ordered 1 item and Scamazon sent the entire 21 units, in the warehouse, to the customer. We found out from the customer's message. Another incident was when a customer claimed the box was empty, on a Monday, and package wasn't delivered till following Thursday None of this has ever been resolved. All you get when you file claims are copy/paste Bots.

This is how Bezos finances his space trips, etc.....
