A specific seller lies about all their items and always says "only 1 left in stock". Is this agains Amazon Policy to do?
This seller uses the same wholesaler as me and consistently price gouges the buy box, I know what they're paying for the items cause I pay the same price but charge roughly 25% less than them. They are able to do this because for some reason, Amazon always gives them the buy box even if they have a book priced at $45 and Amazon is priced at $30, this seller still gets the buy box. Another bogus thing about this seller is that on every single one of their listings, it says they only have one in stock. I know this to be a blatant lie, because they sell way more than me and at much more outrageous prices and on top selling books and it would literally take them 2 weeks to place a new order and receive it from the distributor. I'm sick of this seller always getting the buy box despite their price gouging and I'm sick of their duplicitous games to exploit the buy box by saying every book they sell is the last one. Is what they're doing against Amazon policy? Can I report them? I'm usually not the type to go that route or hate on anyone else's hustle, but when they're getting a disproportionate share of buy box on almost every one of their listings and then lying about their stock, it honestly upsets me.

Hi @Soma_Goods_LLC,
Thanks for the post.
Sellers are responsible for complying with all laws, regulations, and Amazon policies when listing products. Amazon encourages sellers to report listing abuse or seller violations of Amazon's policies or applicable law.
All reports are thoroughly investigated by our team. For privacy reasons, the results of our investigations can't be disclosed, but we'll take any disciplinary actions we find appropriate.
Best regards,
