Seller Support Chat is Bots right?
The new seller support chat feature are bots right? Cannot be humans. I will ask a question, get a response that makes no sense, continually say why it doesn't make sense and ask for an answer, and they just keep sending the exact same response. When I ask if it's a human or a bot, they end the chat. This has happened like 20 times in a row.

Comically, they are humans.
Seller Support Chat just copies and pastes policy from the website. It rarely makes sense.

Sounds like Amazon is using the AI Bots. They are the ones that have to be asked a question many thousand times to self-train themselves. Amazon thanks you for helping then along.
Or, it could be Andy Jasey having fun in the sandbox.

I spoke with a rep at Amazon about a month ago or so and I asked about this and I made the accusation that it's just a bunch of nonenglish speaking reps that look for key words and phrases and simply copy and paste whatever they can find in Amazon's policies and procedures that most closely matches the word or phrase even if it doesn't fit the context of the situation. The rep actually confirmed that I was correct. That this is basically the job description.

Correct humans are not as stupid as seller support! only way you get different response is you tell them to F$%K off then they close the case like talking to siri. Ebay is now using AI to streamline your descriptions making listing almost as simple as Amazon.

There is not support just bot copy and paste garbage that all it does is pissy you off and never addresses any issues why both other just keep letting Amazon self sabotage.

If you ever get to talk to a real person let me know as I have been trying for a couple of years now.

I think you are right. But we sellers are too stupid figure it out.

No, I think they are human. They have understanding problems. Your question is why 2+2 = 4, and they keep talking about the reason 1+3 = 4. Their answers are not wrong, but just irrelevant to your question.

Surprisingly, the answer is no. I asked multiple departments when I was at Seattle's Amazon Accelerate in September. They said they were also asked this question a lot.

It's worse than bots. It also frustrates sellers with repetitive, nonsensical copy-and-paste responses and ending the chat abruptly.
