FBA Return Settings - Amazon not sending me the customer returns
On Feb 7th I changed my "FBA Returns Evaluation & Ownership Settings" to have specific ASINs to not be evaluated for re-stocking (beta program) but to have them returned back to my address on file when a customer returns an item. (This way it prevents Amazon from putting damaged customer returns back into stock) Since then, I have had over 100 units that have been returned by customers but I have not had anything returned back to me. In the Customer Return setting, Amazon states that these items will be marked as defective and will be returned to my address based on my Unfulfillable returns settings. When I look at the Customer Return report, these customer returns are being shown as "unit returned to inventory". These items should be getting sent back to me and not going into inventory. Is there a glitch in the return settings?

Hello @Seller_dkC0YA24BtrOa
I reviewed your account and the FBA Returns Evaluation & Ownership Settings. I see you have Returned item evaluation set to disabled. The related help page states "When you disable returns evaluation for your FBA inventory, Amazon will no longer evaluate your customer returns. All returns will be marked as defective and will not be eligible for reimbursements if damaged."
I am not sure why the system is not working as stated above and that none of your products enrolled in FBA are being returned to you as defective. I am going to reach out to my contacts in FBA for an explanation. I will post back here when I get a response.
Thank you for visiting the seller forums.
