How can I delete Mexico Market?

Hello! I created my amazon account as personal but they approved it as a professional. I made the change, but it keeps appearing Personal in the USA and Canada and Professional in Mexico.

Amazon says that when I activate my professional account in the USA, Mexico will also be activated and I will have to pay for both.

How do I remove Mexico? I never chose that market it just popped up. I made complaints but they do not give me an answer. Sameone can help me? Thank you!

You can't remove Mexico or Canada. Your professional merchant fees are divided between the 3 markets. The total amount is $40. Make sure your inventory is not active for the other two markets.

There are countless threads on this same subject. It is brought up at least a dozen times a month. Please research the boards to find more information. But the bottom line is that you don't have to worry about it.

Follow this link to the North American Unified Account FAQs Seller Help page:

What happens if I downgrade to an Individual selling account?

Here's the specific FAQ that relates to your question:

What happens if I downgrade to an Individual selling account?

"When you downgrade to an Individual selling plan, you pay a per-item fee when an item is sold, rather than a monthly subscription fee. Your Amazon.com.mx account will also be terminated because Amazon.com.mx only supports Professional selling accounts. Your Amazon.com and Amazon.ca accounts will not be affected. Before downgrading a selling account, be sure that you fully understand how the change will impact your costs and access to Seller Central tools."

It's not clear from your post if want an Individual or Professional Account. If you want Professional, then as @trietminh_treasures states, there is no reason to worry as the fee will be $39.99 regardless.

If you want to sell only in the US, just make sure to keep the store switcher on US so you're not automatically listing in Canada or Mexico also.

Hello @Seller_ebS9lc7HDGs6P

Thank you for posting your inquiry.

As @Seller_rGcQW1yb6ZWbC and @Seller_LImVvUWeyiCfQ have mentioned, with a North America Unified Account, you can conveniently switch in Seller Central between Amazon.com, Amazon.ca, and Amazon.com.mx seller tools to list products and manage orders in multiple marketplaces. You have the option to list in one, two, or all three of the available North American marketplaces.

you can't remove Canada & Mexico if you sell in the US. it's an automatic "north America" thing. what you need to do, so you don't have to pay them anything is go to your inventory page, at the top is a white box with your store name, click it & it will show all 3. click on CA & you be in the CA marketplace, still on your inventory page. delete all the listings. no worries, it won't delete them in the US. do same thing for Mexico. just making them inactive isn't enough.
