lableling units on pallet
Hello All, I have a question regarding item labeling. typically, when i send items to amazon, i label them myself, with a dymo, put everything in the box, and ship.... now, with a LTL, I see there is the option to label the item, but then, I also see, towards the end of the workflow, you also have to print a label for each box. this label is more like a 4x6 thermal. so does the latter label eliminate the need for the first label? or do I still need both?

Both. Do everything the same way you normally would and then you will be labeling each box like you normally would (without pallet) however, rather than labeling them with those typical FBA labels and UPS labels, you will just be labeling them with the 1 box label, then do BOL

Hey @Seller_OJERCijBq4L6h,
It looks like this is well covered, but for anyone in the future who might visit this thread I wanted to be sure to post pallet label requirements:
Pallet label requirements
- Place FBA pallet labels on all four sides of the pallet on the outside of the stretch wrap.
- Affix FBA shipment labels to each pallet: four per pallet, one on each side in the top center. You can print shipping labels in the shipment creation workflow.
- Place labels squarely, not angled, on all four sides of the pallet so that the forklift driver can see them when approaching with the forklift.
- Label the pallet “Single ASIN pallet” if it contains only one ASIN.
- When shipping multiple SKUs on a pallet, physically separate the SKUs so that they are easy to tell apart when received at the fulfillment center. For more information, see the special pallet label requirements below.
Let me know if you have any lingering questions from this!
