Parent Listing not working
I had a parent listing with 3 child variations attached. In an attempt to streamline, I stupidly deleted all 3 child listings from the parent. Now the parent listing has a line for inventory and price but cannot function as a standalone, buyable product. When I click edit, I get an error message about submitting a feed? Therefore I cannot add variations.
I cannot find a solution, I would like to keep the review history I have on the original parent listing. All my cases with amazon have been replied with copy/paste answers about how to create a listing. No one can help me trouble shoot the error message.
Any ideas? Or if I did start a new listing with the same 3 variations as before, could I merge the 2 parent listings?

If the 3 child variations still exist as standalone listings, all you need to do is use the Variation Wizard to bring them all together again.
I think I'd try Add to or Update an existing variation Family first since you already have a parent ASIN.

Hi @Seller_CAoRZzH4GE42U, the other seller on this thread provided some solid guidance, but I'll confirm that the Variation Wizard would be how you can re-add those 3 child ASINs to the parent. Parent ASINs cannot stand alone/function as their own listing, as you've discovered. It sounds like you have deleted the ASINs themselves, in which case you would indeed have to create new listings for each and then add them to the existing parent.
