VAT Refund Issue as a new seller
We got VAT registered in November but amazon was holding VAT from the start of our sale. And in march 2025 they deducted the VAT from our account whereas i was supposed to get the refund and they didn’t even issue any invoice for the that particular VAT transaction. I just came to know that i should have got the refund now i am trying to talk to them and every time they just keep telling me that team will get back to you but they never did. I am a new seller and my experience with amazon is worst than i imagined.

As far as i know Amazon are responsible for remitting your VAT direct to HMRC as you don't seem to be established in the UK for VAT purposes.
