Confusion Over A/B Testing Results Due to Title Change in Seller Central During Experiment
I ran an A/B product title experiment, testing two different titles, Title A and Title B, for ten days. The results showed that Title A performed 69 per cent better than Title B. However, before the experiment started, I updated my product title in Seller Central (Title C), thinking it would automatically update Title A in the experiment, but that didn't happen. As a result, I ended up with three different titles.
During the experiment, I noticed that Amazon used Title C when informing me about shipped items, which added to my confusion about which title performed best.
I'm unsure if customers only saw Title A and Title B during the experiment or if they were also exposed to Title C. Any clarification on this would be greatly appreciated.
