I'm really excited about this guide and the potential to build a new brand. but Building a brand feels super overwhelming, especially with the fear of failing and all the obstacles that come with it. As someone who has spent an entire year trying to succeed in the wholesale model and filled with accumulated frustrations , but the challenges have been nonstop. One of the toughest parts has been finding products. So many companies reject working with third-party sellers or just don’t want to deal with newer businesses like mine. Even when I do get an account with a distributor, the prices are usually way too high to make a profit. It makes me wonder how others are finding products that actually sell at reasonable prices — they can’t be selling at cost, right?
Anyway, big respect to anyone who can share some tips on getting past this hurdle. I’d love to hear from anyone who knows how to find good products, especially from brands that don’t have strict policies against selling on Amazon or those where it’s easier to get authorized letters. Staying away from potential violations is key, so any advice would be super helpful!

Hi @Seller_ZV3SDmHfYniQx
Thank you for your comment! I'm glad you find the guide exciting and useful when it comes to building your brand.
Hopefully a seller can come by and give some tips, but in the meantime I wanted to mention that finding a product to sell and building relationships with the supplier or wholesaler is the first challenge (like you experienced).
It also depends on what you want to sell. Do you want to sell products with less competitors? Or products that are high-demand? Some products may have higher demand in certain locations, so it’s important to consider the market when deciding which high-demand products to sell.
Here are some help pages that may be useful!

Thanks a lot, Sandy! I appreciate the tips and the resources — I'll definitely give them a look.
As for what I’m aiming for, I think I'd like to go for products with less competition but still enough demand to make it worth it. The hardest part has been finding suppliers that aren’t so strict with new sellers like me, and of course, the pricing. It's tough to make decent margins with the prices I’ve been seeing.
If you have any extra tips on how to connect with suppliers who are more open to new businesses or certain product categories that might be easier to get into, that’d be awesome
Thanks again for the help

Hi @Seller_ZV3SDmHfYniQx
I wish there was a "how to" on how to build relationships with suppliers, but this is a case by case and some sellers take a few months up to years to find the right suppliers. Please continue to contact suppliers or brands to see if they would work with you.
