"Other" charge to seller account with no reason nor explanation
Our seller account was charged today 01/10/2025 for $5.02 with the Transaction Type of "Other" and the Details shown as "Others" - NO order number, no explanation, no reason. Unable to open a Case because as the autobox only wants to show me Fees - well this has NO explanation. And unable to file a Safe-T-Claim because though our account was charged, there is NO order number
This amounts to thievery by Amazon, taking my funds with absolutely NO reason or explanation except OTHER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Hi @Seller_rARloU7rTPqWd,
A similar issue was discussed in another thread (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/seller-forums/discussions/t/c5dde2b7-4e08-498c-93e8-5733a0cb5ba0) where a seller experienced a $33,563.05 "Other" charge. According to @Connor_Amazon, these charges can sometimes be due to incorrect product measurements, additional shipping weight, or advertising costs. The most common reason mentioned was shipping carrier charges, which can occur if a product isn't measured properly, leading to additional costs after re-measurement by the carrier.
In that discussion, Connor_Amazon mentioned that their partner team would provide a breakdown of the charges.
I hope this helps.
Best regards, Michael

Hello @Seller_rARloU7rTPqWd,
Thanks for reaching out to Amazon Forums. "Other" transactions might include:
- Subscription fees, as described in your seller service agreement
- Charges associated with A-to-z Guarantee claims
- Corrections issued by Amazon to remedy an account discrepancy
- Carrier adjustments
Typically, a $39.99 "Other" transaction represents your monthly subscription fee for selling on Amazon.com. If your Payments report shows more than one $39.99 transaction of this type, it may be a carryover from an earlier settlement period when your sales were not sufficient to cover the monthly subscription fee or because service fees as advertising.
In this case, please open a a seller support case and share the case ID in this thread.
Looking forward to your response.
Cheers,
Micah
