The product has been identified as a pesticide product, or a product that contains pesticide claims but We are Not able to access listing to fix problem
What is happening with Seller Central on Amazon?
How is it possible for a product to be categorized as a pesticide when I'm selling a simple leather bag???
Our product has been mistakenly identified as a pesticide product, pesticide device, or a product containing pesticide claims by Amazon. To be considered for reinstatement, they are requesting evidence of an EPA Registration number and EPA Establishment number or certification that the product is exempt from EPA regulations.
We are selling a straightforward leather bag for motorcycles. I attempted to access my listing to rectify any issues, but I was unable to edit without permission.
Does any other seller face the same Issue on random products? Please Help!!

Did you make sure that you didn't use any of the keywords that the bots hit on to think this is a pesticide? Did you claim it was mold resistant or similar?

@Seller_jNprUjd8kUz05,
In addition to the myriad posts on this subject here on forums I encourage you to check out the Prohibited product claims help page and review the product description against the terms noted therein as that is most often the culprit when we see these issues.
Best,

Yes. We have daily several pesticide threads. Use the searchbar on top and search them. For example this one:

I haven't seen that one for about 2 years. Usually my items get removed for pricing issues when someone severely undercuts the other sellers.

I'm getting same issue with the pesticide product. But my product is Vitamins. Still hasn't been resolved. So frustrating!

I am having a similar issue with one of my products, gelatin. Except for my product, they keep changing the name of the manufacturer, none of which is the actual manufacturer. Even though I have provided all the information to the manufacturer, it has now been two months, and I still cannot send more replenishment for that specific product.

Bots don't work. We have had coffee, toys, clothing and even dayquil get categorized as a pesticide. More hoops to jump through, which takes time from being able to sell on other sites.

This happened to me a few months ago and it turns out they were flagging my jacket listing for the word "anti-microbial". Try submitting a case with seller central and see if they are able to tell you what needs to be removed from the page!

Being in the Shoe category I get a LOT of pesticide alerts.
After many attempts with Seller Support I have found that this template has the highest chance of succeeding

There is no claim anywhere on the detail page stating antiviral, antimicrobial, anti-fungal, antibacterial. (obv this needs to be true)
There is no claim on the listing page stating antiviral, antimicrobial, anti-fungal or antibacterial. (obv this needs to be true)
These are [add single word product description here, SHOES, JACKET, SHIRT, ETC]
Not a PESTICIDE.
There is no pesticide number or EPA documents available because this ASIN is [add single word product description here].
Because this ASIN is in the [add category here] category there is no "EPA Registration" or "Pesticide Marking" attribute field in the Manage Inventory page.
Thanks

Hope this helps!!

This happened to me, and it made me take a course and then after I checkmarked the product as not containing pesticides by editing the listing and was fine. Make sure you avoid any words like "Antimicrobial" or anything similar in both listing and A+ content.
