Temporary restraining order
I just got hit with a federal temporary restraining order. It was due to a possible patent infringement. I started selling a product that there were multiple sellers for already. I got approved to sell through amazon and sold about 117. The profit per sale was nothing crazy. I got an email from amazon. I reached out to the people Amazon said to reach out to. They want a $10,000 settlement. I made profit from it about $370 and I don't have by any means $10,000 or even close to that. Any advice on what to do? I don't have money for a lawyer or anything like that. I made $6,000 I made about 15 months of selling on Amazon and just recently started giving it all my efforts. I own nothing so really I don't think they can take much from me. I am not to concerned about that but I am confused as to what to do. I don't even know if this is a legitimate case.

You are going to have to work it out with the people that want $10K to settle. I doubt you will receive any more disbursements from Amazon until it is resolved either.
Costly lesson for you to understand that you are not allowed to make a profit on something that someone else has patented. To get an invention or product that you created patented requires a lot of money and time. The whole purpose of the patent is to prevent someone else, with no skin in the game, from cashing in on your hard work and investment.
This will not go away for you. Hire a lawyer. You need one.

Hi @Seller_1duCae1TWoDKj,
Thank you for your post. Temporary restraining orders (TRO) are legal issues that Amazon cannot provide guidance on outside of the performance notifications that are sent in this regard. Your best course of action in this case it to pursue a retraction from the rights owner. In the notification you would have received, the rights owner's contact information would have been shared with you. Should they agree to a retraction of their complaint, that submission would need to come from the rights owner directly to Amazon.
Regards,
Troy
