Featured Offer Eligibility - Request for manual review

We would like an internal team to conduct a manual featured offer review as we have some categories that never seem to be switched on. This is likely due to the fact that our selling account is so old it has been converted a few times over the years.

I have repeated asked Seller Support for help with this only to be given the auto response about getting the buy box. That is not our issue. Our issue is that we are locked out of Featured status in a few categories.

Just a heads up. I went back and forth with Seller Support via email and just now for an hour via Chat.

I have no problem with having support staff in other countries handle matters but they need to be properly trained and fluid in english.

It is very clear they do not understand what I am asking for no matter how many examples I provide or ways I try to ask.

@Glenn_AmazonI know you are very busy but I need help here getting this resolved.

We have an open case right now regarding a similar issue. We have been Amazon sellers since 2001 and sell in BMVD categories. We lost the "Save with Used Box" for ALL of our used books listings about six weeks ago. However, we still win the Featured Offer for new books and the "Save with Used Box"/Featured Offer (New) in other media categories such as DVDs.

I was hesitant to call after using email and chat, but I had a great experience speaking on the phone with a live support specialist who was not only fluent in American English but was also a great listener and seemed to have some background in computer programming as he had a great analytical, problem solving type of mind. Best experience I've had with Seller Support Specialist in probably a decade or longer. He was able to get answers to resolve one long outstanding issue, but I've been waiting since last Friday on the Buy Box issue.
