How do clients find out an item has come back into stock?
Hi all,
Yesterday we found in the warehouse an unopened box of books that used to sell very well here on AZ. This title was printed by a small organization and has been out of print and unavailable for years. We put a few copies for sale on Amazon yesterday and within a few hours they were all sold to different clients.
Can someone tell me how these clients found out this book has come back into stock? I am positive that the description page has been dormant for years. Before we listed our units we examined the page and there was nothing there that said anything like "Notify me if this comes back into stock". This book is of such niche interest it is not possible these clients just stumbled upon the listing in a three hour span.
Thanks!
Jim

Possibly (though you would have to check it directly) because that Amazon detail page is noted on the website BookFinder dot com. I sometimes use that site when listing a vintage and/or niche title to see who else (other sites) is selling and at what price/condition. Best of luck with your sales .. KJ @ BookshopByTheFalls

Wishlist sites... constantly scan book sites.

I use camelcamelcamel for notifications on drops in price, etc on Amazon items I want to buy for myself.

Many years ago there was a button on the ASIN page where a person could click "notify when available". We actually sold many items this way since we specialize in hard to find items.
