Is there a solution to the chosen Amazon Partner LTL carrier freight class choice being overridden?
The "Send to Amazon" workflow asks you to select the freight class but when we receive the BOL it's always changed. Instead of 65, 70, or 77.5, like our products are, Amazon changes it to 85. This drastically increases the price and was not an issue with the old workflow. Based on density, our class is almost always 70. As a result, I've been shipping with our own carrier for 6 months now but a recent FBA fulfillment center destination has me looking at Amazon partnered LTL again.
I'm thinking Amazon must be comparing our products to NMFC lists and somehow is inaccurately classifying our goods. Our goods are non-hazardous, no concern of cross contamination, and easy pallet handling. Unfortunately, every previous discussion of this topic on these forums has no answer.

The other annoyance is that I can not set up a pick up for the next day. This was standard procedure with the old workflow. When I ship direct with my carriers I can have same day pick up if I book the pick up in the AM. Seeing the way Amazon handles logistics discourages me from using AGL at all.

Hey there,
Thank you for raising this! I haven't seen this issue reported, but I'll be looking to see if others are experiencing something similar. In the meantime, have you submitted a case to Seller Support on this? If so, let me know the case ID as I would like to begin doing some deeper research on this.
