Account Deactivated, can't reactivate, can't close, what next?
I've been stuck in a loop with Amazon since April of 2024. Account deactivated due to section 3. Former virtual team didn't due their due diligence and supplier not able to provide documentation as well. So, I can't get what is needed to reactivate my account, but I can't close my account until it is reactivated. Am I just stuck in a terminal loop that will never end? Dollars locked up and remaining inventory locked up, not counting additional inventory that Amazon already wrongfully disposed of. Multiple calls and emails to account support has been utterly useless as they keep repeating the same information. Any other opportunities to get in touch with anyone at Amazon that can actually help me just close my account and be out of this mess for good?

Unless you can show that your inventory is authentic and authorized, Amazon will not return it, nor release your funds.
If you can't document the authenticity of your items, then there is really little if anything you can do, other than downgrade your account to "Individual" so that you no longer pay a monthly seller fee. You'll never get your account back without that documentation.

Hello @Seller_7Ahjo66NGyAqv,
I see you had a virtual team that somehow did not maintain suppler documentation. When dealing with ALL products on Amazon, you MUST maintain invoices and when requested, Supply Chain documents. It is your responsibility to make sure any vendor you hire complies with these requirements.
If you have a case ID or Performance Notification, I could give more specific information for your situation.
Usually in cases of deactivation, Amazon has requested either documentation of ASIN's - such as Invoices and Supply Chain Documents or Identity verification.

As I understand you have been informed, deactivated accounts cannot be closed. Please review: Close your seller account
In part states:
Steps to take before closing your seller account
If you decide to permanently close your account, follow these steps:e
- Fulfill any outstanding orders.
- Wait 90 days after your last sale to ensure the A-to-z Guarantee claims period is honored.
- Wait until you have a zero balance in your account (your next disbursement or charge date).
- Resolve all of your transactions with buyers, including issuing any necessary refunds.
- Confirm that your bank account information on file is up-to-date to receive a final payment.
- Check your Performance notifications to make sure that all the reasons for your account's suspension have been resolved and your account is restored.
Step #6 explains all issues must be resolved and the account restored before the account may be closed.
This information provide by @Seller_nRFmxiQg4EGrw is correct.
The reason for the deactivation will determine if inventory is returned to you or disposed of and also if any funds will be returned to you. Please review the Funds withholding policy. Also review: Amazon Services Business Solutions Agreement - Look into: Section F-7 Returns to You and Disposal
I look forward to your response. Thank you for reaching out on the forums.
