Seller ID Validation on Amazon is beyond broken!! Persona ID Proofing Service and more.
I've had a couple business accounts with Amazon for the past 20+ years. No issues with the other accounts especially on the buying side of the table. But a month ago I registered our newest business for an Amazon Seller account. I did the ID validation from my mobile phone, took photos of my ID with high rez camera and we were validated within just a day or two. Meanwhile we waited 3 weeks for our Physical address card to arrive in the mail (no joke it took that long, coming from Detroit through snow storms). We weren't happy with the delays, but we understood. So we go to our seller account console and promptly put in our tax info, banking biz account and more. We were cleared to sell, or so it said on at least one or more screens. About a week ago or more, apparently our account was deactivated (without even listing our first product). Seems we need to do ID proofing again. Sounded like scheduling with an Amzn agent could take awhile so we opted for the automated version through Persona, which entails taking a photo of your ID with your web cam, but this time they wanted it not from mobile, but from my workstation... lucky it even has a web cam. So we proceeded to try this, but found the 1K web cam doesn't have a macro lense and the writing on my drivers license from my state DMV is very small, even I can't read it very well. So I knew from the fuzzy photos Persona was taking this was going to be a disaster. (remember it won't let me validate from my mobile phone at this point, the link must be opened on your workstation). After about the 12th photo, Persona finally accepted one of the photos which I know is still fuzzy. The message says:
"We have completed our review of your face and ID document images.
We are conducting further checks on the information you provided during registration and we may contact you by email for further clarification within two business days."
We are going on 3+ days now and still no emails. I've called into Account Health support several times now and they seem to just say anything they can to get you off the call and they absolutely nothing to resolve the issue while they go and close the call as "Answered/Resolved" when nothing could be further from the truth.
I can't even go in and select another option like scheduling a video call with an agent... If I had known this earlier I never would have tried this worthless hell of an option known as "Persona". I am being told now that Persona process may take 5-7 days!! [Moderator Edit: removed inappropriate commentary] Where was the warning message for that clown show? This is a complete dead end and so it Amazon Support. Let's see if it takes them 4 lazy days to get back to this post like they did the last guys post from January 24th?
I know a T1 support agent isn't going fix this problem.
How do I get a manager on the line who can fix this problem once and for all?

P.S. Amazon - I went ahead and removed my payment information (wrong expiration dates for the one I couldn't remove) because I'm not paying you a penny for this crappy service. And I hope others do the same until we all get the issue resolutions we all need. No fix Amazon, no money. Period!
