add a product - metal id section seems to always be invalid
hoping someone can assist me.
I am adding a new product (gold jewellery earrings) suddenly the metal id section has become required to submit a product.
I keep getting the error code, The value specified is invalid for the below:
Metal ID
Metal Weight
Metal Stamp
Metal Type
The issue is any info i put in is not being accepted, does anyone have an example that they can provide that is accepted by amazon.
Honestly lately its a nightmare to add a product on amazon

I also sell jewellery and have just gone to edit one of mine to have a look but it does not show that Metal ID and the other fields are required. I would have thought if they were mandatory they would have been highlighted when I went in to edit?
So I have just downloaded the latest jewellery template file (Version=2023.1121) and on the Data Definitions tab, line 64, it says: Metal ID. Provide a unique ID to number/identify each unique metal type. Optional. In addition, there is no column in the template for Metal ID and the other fields. So I don't see how they can be required fields?
Can you not just mark it as "attribute not required for this product"?

Are you trying putting in 1 2 3 4 or 5 ?
