Transparency program major abuse
i've noticed that 5 major brands that i've been selling have added these transparency labels that are pretty much being used to abuse the program and restrict 3rd party sellers from selling on their listing.
I have been buying authentic products from reputable distributors who state they receive the products direct from the brands but the products do not have any transparency codes on them. These brands are limiting the transparency codes to leverage their own listings and eliminate other sellers. This sounds fine.. but when you learn that the transparency program is not supposed to be used for this and directly violates the programs policy, as ALL units that are enrolled in the program are supposed to have the "T" labels on them. Amazon support hasn't done anything on this.
I see this issue, in the long term, killing off a lot of 3rd party sellers. I've lost a majority of my business due to "T labels" , some even enrolling as I have inventory being shipped into the warehouse, then amazon denying my items as "defective" and sending them back to me.
Before anyone decides to jump on and negatively comment saying "the brands are just taking back their listings from 3rd party seller abuse". Sure, this is the case, but they're playing dirty and violating the terms, yet their is NO repercussion and there is NO where to report these.. I have been seeing at least 1 brand per month hop on this trend, and it'll only get worse.

I'm guessing that if you had permission from the brand to sell as a 3rd party on Amazon, you would probably get product with a 'T Label'.
Amazon almost makes it impossible for brands to protect their listings and quality of their products being sent to customers, so I guess they resorted to this.
I do not agree with abusing the transparency program, but I understand the appeal.

We are dealing with the same issue on some of our ASINs and have not reached any resolution. We are in direct contact with manufacturer and they indicated that they have never enrolled the products in Transarency program and they have no plan in issuing any transparency barcodes. To me this is an abuse of the program by a third-party seller who owns the listing but they do not own the Brand. We have opened cases with seller-support and we have posted the issue here. I will update you if I make any progress and please keep posting updates here as you see any progress on your side. We have over 60K stock of products that potentially will be blocked from selling if Amazon can not address this issue.

We sell some brands who started the transparency and now are trying to get out of it and it's a major headache. it's basically destroying the asins. Nobody can sell them on them now.

I was buying directly through a Brand, yet my product didn't have the T-code, so I could no longer sell. This happened almost a year ago, so it been happening for awhile now.
