NMFC Product Code for Freight Class Calculation
The new Send to Amazon workflow has drastically increased our freight charges, with its "automatic freight class calculation." We are usually between 92.5 to 110 in this workflow, but our products are pelleted supplements for horses (think, generally, horse feed).
The NMFC product code we use for LTL shipments outside of Amazon is 67050 (for Animal Supplements) and puts us at Class 55.
We were penalized for changing our freight class down to 55 on our shipments and temporarily were suspended from changing our freight class. Prior to the new workflow, we never had an issue. We'd love to stay using Amazon partnered freight, but how can we make sure we are being classed correctly?

Hello @Formula_707,
Thanks for posting! Just want to offer some information on this concern. It appears you are concerned about the shipping charge for your shipment due to the freight class. You may open a case with Seller Support, if you havent done so already, requesting they please check to determine if you are charged correctly on your particular shipment ID. It will be best to request this once the shipment is received at fulfillment center (not while in transit). At that time, they can begin an investigation and re-confirm if your shipment is classified under the appropriate Freight Class and being charged correctly. Hoping this helps!
