I do not know how to get through to these people. My bank account was hacked so I had to change accounts. I sent put my new information into the deposit methods. They want a bank statement with my name, address and account number on it. I had to wait a month to get the statement, sent it in and they will NOT accept it. My credit union will not put the full account number on a bank statement so they will not verify my information. I have a letter from the credit union stating the full account information, but as is usual, no one will talk to me or contact me, or let me send the information to the correct department. They want my credit union to change their WHOLE system to add my FULL account because they're too dumb to take my information. All my other direct deposit companies and even Social Security has accepted my information but, oh, no, not Amazon.
What do you people suggest I do? I've contacted them so many times now that they won't even let me on the banking information any more.
My guess is I won't get any help from the "big guys" here either.

This has been a long standing issue with credit union acceptance here.....I know at least one guy went to the local branch and managed to get a statement printed that showed his full account number..

Walking into your credit union and asking for a print out with your account number on it may be the only way. I am not surprised they won't do it by phone or through mail. A lot of places won't now. I would go into your local credit union branch and ask. If said credit union doesn't have a location near you you may want to reconsider sticking with that credit union. This is becoming way more typical now. A good friend of mine is having similar issues. His local branch is 2 hours away.

You're not able to login to online banking and when you pull up your account statement there is no button to click that says "Show Full Account Number"? All of my current and past bank accounts including credit unions have always had that option in the online banking.

Connor from Amazon here, as other sellers mentioned here, we do need the full account number listed on your statement in order to verify your account.
I know its not perfect, but you can set up a new bank account with another institution that will show the full account number.
