Based in Ireland, what is the best way for me to go about setting up for FBA in Europe, including where I need to be registered for vat and which location[s] I should ship my product too ?
I am based in Ireland and want to set up FBA in Europe but I'm very confused by it all. I am signed up for OSS but I don't understand if I need to be registered for vat in all European countries or just where my FBA inventory would be stored and how do I know where that Amazon FC would be ? Will I be shipping to just one FC and if so do I get to choose which country the FC is in ?
The last time I tried this was a disaster as Amazon didn't have a partner carrier for shipping the goods out of Ireland and even though I used UPS the goods were refused at the FC in Italy and then lost by the shipper !

I had the same problem now several times as I was sending to FC's in the UK from Cork and each time they got returned to me at the customs stage who indicated it was Amazon refused entry. I too would like to go around this and perhaps ship to Europe but I am registered for Vat now in the UK so would I need to register also in France or Germany Ect. I presume I can just ship to France and register there and if goods go elsewhere by amazon then I do not need to re-register there as my goods are held at an FC in France or elsewhere?
Of course I would much rather to just send to the UK as it is easier for communication purposes but I cannot find anyone to tell me what I am doing wrong.
