Confused! Only ever sold in UK but having issues with other European accounts!

Hi All

Hopefully someone can halp me out as I am totally confused!!

I have been selling on Amazon UK for 9 years. Only ever sold on Amazon UK but I beleive having a UK account means you basically have an EU account and so I seem to have 8 other accunts set up (France, Germany etc etc) but have never ever used them to my knowledge.

I recently tried to update some images for a listing of mine, the listing is my own registered brand. I was advised by seller support that I can't make the changes becuase my account needs to be in good standing across all marketplaces in which I sell. On investigation I found out I was suspended on Amazon Italy although I have absolutely no idea why as I don't sell on there?

I managed to quite easily reinstate Amazon Italy with just one click but the images would still not update and SS gave the same reason. So I am looking into the whole issue and I am very confused so can anyone answer the following questions I have on this?......

1. Is it correct that I have to have all the EU accounts if I only sell in UK?

2. All the EU accounts show a warning that I don't have a depsoit method set up, do I have to do that even though I will never get a disbursement as I don't sell there? ( I already registered a charge card on them all)

3. 6 out of the 8 EU accounts show zero listings or inventory. However, Poland shows all the listings and inventory levels I have in my UK account and Belgium shows 4 listings with zero inventory. Why is this??

4. Poland and Germany accounts 'inactive' but account page say 'healthy, any ideas?

Thanks in adavnce for any incite. I have looked through the forums and see people put these accounts on holiday if they don't sell on them but I want to make sure everything is, in Amazons words, 'in good standing' before I do.

Just to confirm, my UK account is healthy, no issues.

Hello @Seller_7G4mTOFwvnAjo,

Thank you for reaching out to the Seller Forums Community.

This is Amelia from Amazon to assist you.

Based on the post above, we understand your concern is related to general EU accounts selling.

When you list your products in one of Amazon’s European stores, by default the listing will be available in all European stores, to make it easier for you to expand your business in Europe. If you wish to remove your listing from a specific store or opt out of this functionality altogether, you can go to Account Settings in Seller Central to deselect the store(s).

For more information on Global Selling, you can through this policy

In order to get clarification on other questions, your best course of action would be to reach out to Seller Support through normal paths from here

Do reach out if you need any further assistance. The forums community and I are here to support you.

Regards,

Amelia
