Can regular poly mailers for shipping be used for fba prep not transparent?

Hello I wanted to know if I can use poly mailers instead of poly bags that are transparent. The clear bags I have are more smaller so wanted to know if I can just use the regular poly mailers that everyone uses for shipping and prep those for FBA?

Appreciate all the help. Thanks

The last time I looked, FBA prep guidelines specified transparent poly-bags (although there are exceptions, such as items with graphic images, etc.; these require opaque packaging).

That said, when I started selling books on Amazon, we missed seeing the requirement for Transparent, and used opaque bags, and never had an issue. But I wouldn't recommend pushing the issue; just get the proper bags.

i say yes,

include a "sold as set" label on the outside of the bag, as well as your FBA barcode label,

no need ot buy sold as set labels if youre printing barcode labels just print these as well, use a google picture template or something im sure you can figure this out.

In the past i have sold things on amazon that ive had to package in boxes, taping the box up as 1 unite and putting a set label and barcode on the outside of the box.

maybe send 1 or 2 and see what they say but im sure the minimum wage employees are not going to report you to their higher ups even if it was not allowed.

this prepping process may be costly for you however, being that mailers are far more expensive then the .05 cent polybags i use.

maybe add a few extra strips of tape along the seal of the mailer to ensure that it stays whole, in my experience they have been known to rip/tear depending on the material.

hope this finds you well
