30+ FBA returns from same buyer -- how is this allowed?

We have a buyer who is continually buying and returning products. The first 30 items he ordered (via FBA, all the same buyer) and ALL 30 items have been returned for a refund.

See order #'s

112-4045424-7678626

112-6223494-9032234

112-9769357-0680205

When a customer buys and returns 30 items it is quite evident he has no intention of keeping any of the items ordered, so why is this allowed to continue? At what point does this become suspicious buyer activity and Amazon will take note? No other store or website would allow a return pattern like this. This is crazy and I am seriously considering withdrawing my business from FBA because of it.

For every single scam return I get, I request reimbursment from Amazon...I figure THAT is the best way to get their attention focussed a fraudulent buyer.

I also report the buyer each time through the REPORT ABUSE portal, although I think that does nothing.

In this case, I would email the buyer and ask them politely why they keep buying and returning your items (if that is even possible for FBA buyers).

@Xander_Amazon any thoughts? Why doesn't Amazon have any algorithms in place for this sort of thing?

That is the correct pathway to report suspicious activity, and it does launch a paper trail on a buyer.
