FBA revenue calculator
I am trying to understand how the calculator determines fulfillment costs. The issue is I have an item which is 20" x 9" x 13" in size for a dimensional weight of 16.8lbs. Looking at the fulfillment chart this would fall into the small oversize category. Per Amazons fee chart this should be $9.73 + $0.42/lb above first lb so a total of $12.67 but the revenue calculator with these dimensions and weight is saying it would be $4 dollars more expensive. Is the calculator in error (it does come with an inaccuracy warning), or am I missing some extra fees.
Thank you,
Zach

Disclaimer, I have not used FBA in a few years.
I can tell you though, when you calculate cost, remember to include expenses for the damaged returns Amazon happily accepts and refunds from your account, the items the warehouse lost and you can't get a credit for (especially without authorized distributor receipts) , for various reasons, or not for months and long term storage fees.....
