Transparency Program Discussion
Hi,
We have had 18 suppliers enroll in the Amazon Transparency program. 16 of them consistently do not ship their products to us with the physical transparency code included, and they refuse to provide them. Some even outright say they use the program to stop all resellers.
Is the transparency program working as intended when the suppliers we work with who are enrolled ship the products without the codes included?
All 16 use it as a tool to completely gate the marketplace from legitimate sellers, thus fully defeating the word "marketplace".
Thoughts? Seems like a pretty clear violation of the program terms of service that are posted. If it is a violation, this has to be the most abused program of all time.

What kind of violation? If the brand decides to sell themselves on Amazon or if they have doubts about the authenticity of their brand sold on Amazon by other sellers they choose to join this program, as you said:
That's easier for them than to supervise the listings all the time and to send IP complaints to sellers.
If they don't deliver with transparency codes, you can't sell it on Amazon.
