Replacement sent out AFTER refund entered

We had a customer call us about an item that was sent to him by his daughter and it was damaged en route. He sent a photo immediately after getting off of the phone and I issued a refund at 1:05pm CST on 10/1. He must have told his daughter because she went on, requested a return and replacement and it was approved at 2:41pm CST. How is that possible? How do I get the refund reversed since the replacement did ship? Is there a way to turn replacements off as an option?

There is no way to turn off replacements orders. As long as you have inventory and the buyer requested a replacement through the Order on Amazon.com, then we will send a replacement.

Please contact the buyer and ask them to contact Customer Service from the order in their buying account. When they reach CS they need to ask for a retro charge for the order based on the information you have provided for me here.

Please let me know if you need additional help with the request. I hope the buyer will cooperate with your request and do the right thing by contacting CS for a recharge.
