Amazon Is Acting Weird , Flagging me with dropshipping violation

wait, before you comment its deserved and everything actually read this before commenting. I was not like these bums on here that post drop shipping violations when they were buying items from Walmart or having them ship to customer. I understand the policy fully, now this is out the way I will explain.

I found a good lead on a product a few months ago, I went through an authroized distributor of the brand and then entered into dropshiping /resale agreement with the company. They seem to be the main supplier for this product which is a smaller brand site is reputable, I followed amazon policy guidlines by being authorized by the company and for them to ship in my name. The company does not include invoices and uses my company's name on shipping labels. I recently got this email.

Hello Your seller-fulfilled offers have been deactivated and your listings have been removed in accordance with the Amazon Drop Shipping policy. A reserve equal to your gross sales amount for the preceding 14 days will apply while your account is under review. Although your offers have been deactivated, we still consider you an active seller in our stores. As such, continue to focus your attention on keeping promises to buyers so that your account is in good standing if you take the appropriate steps to reactivate your offers. This includes continuing to ship open orders, responding to buyer inquiries, and handling return and exchange requests. Why did this happen? We have taken this measure because we have found that you have repeatedly violated the Amazon Drop Shipping policy. Drop shipping or allowing a third party to fulfill orders to customers on your behalf, is not acceptable unless it is clear to the buyer that you are the seller of record.

Items are being sold in my companys name and any bit of invoice is not included. They told me a custoemr complained that it came from somewhere else but they never tell you what happened because amazon never makes any sense. They told me apeals dont matter even though it still appears and also the option to accept the violation which I wont do because I followed amazon policy.

There are lots of other things that will flag the account for dropshipping. I won't go into them here because I won't help the actual violators.

The ONE THING that I do NOT see here anyplace is where you say that you have permission from the BRAND to sell the product.

You post a lot of information about an agreement with the distributor being authorized but not a peep about the brand itself. Authorization and an agreement with a seller is more worthless than the paper it is written upon.

One of the 'joys' of dropshipping is that IF your dropshipper that you have an agreement with makes even ONE MISTAKE and sends an item with a different PS or Invoice in the box (or uses the WRONG BOX) you are the one to get tarred and feathered (and lose your account).

It sounds like this source screwed up and it got to the wrong person who complained.

In fact, since you say nothing about brand approval in writing, my best guess is that the BRAND either did a test buy or just notified Amazon that you are not authorized.

How do you know you followed the policies? You did not ship the orders, the shipping companies make many mistakes.

Doing dropshipping correctly is like walking on a thin rope because you can not control anything and mistakes are highly probable.

Here is what I would do:

Accept the violation, stop dropshipping from this company and instead buy their items and ship them yourself.

You said your drop shipper does not use invoices, however you need to be sure they do not put other sales literature in with the package, or buy their boxes from Walmart or Home Depot. I bought a book from another bookseller and inside with the books there were all kinds of advertising folders similar to Val-pak ads for many products.
