No item is checked while taking returns , the customer can return whatever he wishes, specifically on amazon , other sellers the return pick up team checks with image , also expensive items opens the pack and confirms

Urgent needs to have some PRACTICAL expereince team , not THEORY grades to set up processes.

IN this technology world, why cant the return team check the image atleast while picking and if required while delivering

I am writing to raise a serious concern that is heavily impacting my business on Amazon. Recently, we have been facing an increasing number of fake returns. These returns are often in unacceptable condition or do not match the original product sent, and yet our claims for such issues are continuously being denied with the reason "exceed limit."

This recurring issue has caused significant financial losses for my small business. Despite our best efforts to maintain quality and comply with Amazon's policies, the lack of support in resolving these fake return cases is discouraging and unsustainable for us.

This has become the top reason why I am now seriously considering discontinuing my business on Amazon. It is disheartening to see honest sellers being penalized while return abuse continues unchecked.

I kindly request Amazon to look into this matter on priority, reconsider the claim policies in such cases, and provide a resolution that supports genuine sellers. Your help in resolving this would mean a lot and may help me continue my business with Amazon.

Dear Roberto,

Thank you for initiating communication with the seller community.

‘Seller ki Chunautiyan’ sounds too polite. Let’s call it what it is: ‘Amazon Slaves ki Chunautiyan.’

Take a deep breath and ask yourself—not true?

Well… welcome back to reality..

You’re not a partner here—you’re the bouncer at the cage where sellers are kept struggling. 😊

Well, We sellers battle ad extortion, Safe-T denials, theft, and algorithmic suppression—while unknowingly funding the bald mans daily fines for an illegal mansion wall?

We build. They bill.

They profit from our struggle, then stab us in the back—all while calling it a “partnership.”????

While the gesture is appreciated, we must move past token gestures and acknowledge what sellers are facing on the ground. These are not isolated issues—they are recurring, systemic breakdowns that are worsening by the day. For many of us-I can say over 95%- You can check with the internal statistics, what once felt like a partnership now feels like an extractive platform model, disproportionately benefiting Amazon at the expense of its seller base.

Below are some of the most pressing concerns from active sellers like myself:

1. Forced Ad Dependency & Collapsing Organic Visibility

CPC rates have skyrocketed—up nearly 4X in key categories—while organic reach has sharply declined, even for well-performing, policy-compliant listings. Sellers are being cornered into paying for visibility just to maintain the sales we once earned organically.

This undermines both innovation and product quality. It’s a pay-to-play system that heavily favors "Only ghost companies like Cocoblue operate on Amazon." and drains small business margins—effectively monetizing visibility itself.

2. Keyword Suppression & Buy Box Irregularities

Amazon’s algorithmic systems are quietly suppressing high-performing keywords and reallocating the Buy Box in ways that defy logic and policy. Offers with better prices, faster shipping, and higher ratings are being sidelined.

There is no transparency, no communication—only losses. This ambiguity breeds unintentional policy violations and creates a hostile environment where compliant sellers are penalized without warning or recourse.

3. Safe-T Claims: Blanket Rejections Without Due Diligence

Even when Amazon handles pickup, storage, and delivery (via FBA or ATS), Safe-T claims are being denied en masse, often citing generic policy reasons.

Our internal audits show approval rates below 10%, despite complete documentation. This is not just inefficiency—it’s a systemic deflection of liability, pushing losses onto sellers for issues they had no control over.

4. FBA/ATS Failures: Theft, Data Tampering, and Seller Penalties

( Reference Case IDs: 10988159542 / 10676143382-9542 – The digital time slips clearly show that the products were scanned at BOM07 and reached the local hub. However, no further action was taken. Ultimately, the local hub staff have stolen these return shipments — a total of 16 over 16 days — along with returns from 97 other sellers in our locality, even after refund charges were collected from us sellers.

This hub handled an average of 1,000 to 1,600 shipments daily. )

In Tier 2 and 3 locations, FBA hubs and ATS agents are subcontracting operations to unregulated third parties, staffed by severely underpaid labor (₹12K–₹15K/month).

This has led to:

# Internal theft and product swaps

# Fake discrepancies during picking/packing

# Manipulated shipment scans to show “delivered” status

# Seller Safe-T claims being proactively blocked to avoid internal audits

# Sellers are footing the bill for thefts happening within Amazon’s own ecosystem, while the platform protects its own cost centers.

5. Unexplained Clawbacks Without Transparency

Financial clawbacks are being imposed weeks or even months after order fulfillment, with zero traceability and opaque justifications. There is no resolution pathway—just deductions and generic help pages.

For a data-driven platform, such non-transparency is unacceptable. These retroactive penalties are eroding seller trust.

Final Thought: This Is No Longer a Partnership

What we are witnessing is not friction—it’s a systemic imbalance. Sellers are expected to fund ads, absorb losses, navigate black-box policies, and still deliver customer delight—while Amazon profits from every step, including our misfortunes.

A Real Call for Action: What Sellers Urgently Need

We ask the Amazon leadership to go beyond scripted replies and take action on these key issues:

✅ Fair, accountable resolution of Safe-T claims with detailed reasoning

✅ Independent audits of FBA/ATS operations and logistics partners

✅ Restore organic reach and visibility for compliant listings

✅ End forced ad-dependency for discoverability

✅ Transparent financial reconciliation and stoppage of unexplained deductions

We’re not just sellers—we’re stakeholders... BUT the reality is slaves under Amazon captivity

What we need is not sympathy. We need structural correction. Anything less will only push more honest sellers out of the ecosystem.

"We know the bouncer might delete this—but don’t worry, we’ve got the screenshot. 😉"

There is no stability in orders. It's like a roller coaster ride. Some days you go up, and the next day you go to the bottom. A stable order count inspires us to invest more in the platform. But without that, everything is counted as risk rather than investment.

Amazon is axing it's feet by applying Reginol search policy then narrowing it limits & as result we had received orders worth just 2K for almost 150 live listings . Amazon has become pathetic since 2022 & it's management is responsible .. we shifted to other options & now we are happy as we are not dependable on Amazon...
