DPD UK (Amazon-partnered carrier) How to book a collection?
Hi,
I've noticed in the last few days that DPD have been added as an Amazon partnered carrier for Small Parcel delivery into FBA warehouses.
I have booked 10 boxes on as a test. However I cannot seem to be able to book a DPD collection, as the DPD tracking numbers aren't recognised.
Anyone managed to book a collection?
Thanks in advanced

Hi, just wondering how you got on with this?. The Amazon Help pages state to do the following. I wonder whether anybody books regularly with DPD and whether the process is quick and easy after the first the initial set up?
- A seller has to contact the Seller Onboarding (SOB) team via email on selleronboarding @ dpdgroup.co.uk, to request for a collection and share their Merchant ID provided by Amazon. The SOB team will liaise with the local depot and arrange the local collection, and confirm in writing to the seller, once the collection has been booked, within 24 hours. The SOB team will provide the depot’s contact details for future reference.
- If you already have an existing account with DPD UK, please advise them of this during onboarding in order to prevent any issues with shipping.
- A new seller will onboard automatically and will agree to DPD’s standard terms & conditions of carriage.

Got DPD shipping partner appearing in my account as well but it seems that I cannot choose it anyway as my boxes weights/dimensions won't allow for it (60cm x 60xm x 60cm, 15kg). Will keep using UPS as others say it's a bit of hassle with booking a collection through DPD. I asume that this will be sorted in some time making it easier for sellers but in the mean time I won;t waste anymore of my time trying to sort this.

yes i had the same questions. Can't seem to find any instructions how to request a pick up, This is 10 large boxes so no way I can be dropping these off at the local corner store. Really need Amazon to provide more guidance when they introduce new initiatives like this. I have also emailed the onbarding email address. I hope that works, thanks

Has anyone had any success with this? I emailed the onboaring address yesterday, still no response. Have chased them. Also called customer services, they had no idea but were adamant I could not arrange collection myself even with an account unless I paid for the labels. I stressed I have already paid for the labels but they said that's how the system worked. Also spoke to DPD sales team, they also had no clue and knew nothing about this. Feels Like DPD are not prepared. Wonder if this onboarding team are inundated with emails now. Meanwhile my parcels are sat here waiting to go. Not sure whether I should cancel these DPD labels and reraise with UPS, or wait. My advice to others would be to sit tight and wait for idiots like me to take all the initial pain of setting up this process. Any advice welcome.
