How can I hide my personal address from store front as an LLC?

I signed up for an LLC and I'm using a registered agent so that my personal address does not become public. However it looks like Amazon wants to show my LLC name together with my personal address to the world, which defeats the whole point. Is there any way to prevent this? The LLC has my home address. I don't mind if Amazon shows the name of the LLC but I don't want my personal address to be shown. Can I register for a P.O. Box and use that? If not, can I register for a mail forwarding service that has a real address and use that? Or is the only other option to change the official address of my LLC to the mail forwarding service and then update the address in Amazon to that? The reason is that just in case if a customer gets upset, I don't want them to come to my house and cause trouble.

anyone putting your LLC name into google gets your name and address, unless you have a registered agent. Buyers don't usually come to your house and cause trouble. You can open a mail box and change your address to that, but expect re verification and suspension until cleared.

If you're gonna perform a good job as a seller, you won't get any trouble with the customers. Them knowing your address actually gives your business more transparency. But, it's up to you. Like said above, you can always change your address but you'd have to go through verification process again.

With so many concerns over data and private information in today's world, it amazes me that they publish this information so easily. It's only a matter of time when people with criminal intentions consider burglarizing the home address of a seller.

I understand the importance of transparency of this for corporate companies and brick and mortar stores. But this isn't safe for the small business sellers that operate their business from their homes.

Personally, I think if anyone toys with the idea of "causing trouble" it is the Seller who has been defrauded and abused by a Buyer. IMO

I am much more concerned by the prospect of professional theft of inventory from our warehouse so am happy to have my personal address displayed rather than where my inventory in located!

In 14 years on AMAZON I have never had anyone use my address to bother anyone at my address. Wish I could say the same for EBAY!

a VERY WELL DOCUMENTED AND PROSECUTED CASE shows even EBAY employees are guilty of what you fear! And a truly insane EBAY buyer did threaten and arrive at my door! Maybe this is a reason AMAZON gives into all the buyer scams - they do not want their delivery trucks or personal attacked!

Using a Registered Agent, it sounds like you are not living in the USA. The address shown on Amazon would be the registered agent's address as that is the LLC address, not your personal address.
