Learn how to report an abusive behavior
Hello all!
This is Charly, Community Manager for Forums.
Did you know that Amazon has an established and easy way to activate a procedure to report any type of abuse or violation, either from a buyer or from a fellow seller ?
It is, as easy as, filling out a form from your Seller dashboard and it will be assigned to an agent who will review it and exercise all applicable measures either to mediate or to enforce all rules and protect you.
This includes:
- Issues related to Intellectual Property (copyright, trademarks, patents)
- Discrepancies on the product’s detail page that violates Amazon’s policies or mislead our buyer’s decision
- Customer feedback that violates Amazon policies
- Abusive messages sent by a buyer or fellow seller
- Another seller account attempting to harm your business.

That's all well and good, but I have read horror stories that when a seller does this, they in turn have gotten their account deactivated.

The problem I have is Amazon doesn't let us fix or merge a listing when a 3P created a duplicate with a slight variation of our Brand or uses a non GS1 barcode. I would much rather fix an existing listing than have to kill it. especially for duplicates when both have a good sales history.
