DISNEY product and Brand Name changed - IP Violation but amazon seems okay with it

ASIN created with DISNEY brand name and sent to FBA.

Overnight brand name changed to what appears a seller's name and now seller support wont revert it back to original correct brand name.

This is not new bu its gettin really frustrating.

Why amazon allows incorrect brand name over the correct one?

I am not asking to change the brand name but why correct brand name and details were changed to incorrect one?

Does IP Violation only applies to small sellers? Here, amazon has changed DISNEY brand name to other random brand name which is not even registered brand or associated with GTIN or brand.

Reported this through "Report Abuse" but I supect that will do nothing and may end up having alert in my account though I did provide correct details.

This happened to us with a global jewellery brand. Seller support were adamant it could not be changed back, despite proof of the original brand name

After many emails to SS I gave up and emailed the MD stating that "Amazon's refusal to change the item back to its original brand name implies that Amazon condones fraud and misleading buyers."

The brand name was changed back to the original after a day or two.

If you spot that the brand on the PDP does not match the product, please follow the below steps:

  • Go to the Report Abuse Tool
  • Under What kind of abuse do you want to report? Choose - > An abuse issue that is not addressed by the other topics in this menu - > provide ASIN or product URL
  • Follow this guidelines to provide all necessary information
  • Share the case ID of the submission here

Yet the title on UK site is in Spanish, description gone missing and will be on another ride for the same.

Amazon are the worst with fixing things like this. I've been with this company 9 years now, one of the first things i did was trying to fix all the brand issues, and still, there are numerous listings under incorrect brands, with other companies using their own name instead. I contacted amazon regularly about this, the first few years, and they just did nothing, so I honestly gave up. Good luck getting it fixed!

I've been with this company 9 years now, one of the first things i did was trying to fix all the brand issues, and still, there are numerous listings under incorrect brands, with other companies using their own name instead. I contacted amazon regularly about this, the first few years, and they just did nothing, so I honestly gave up. Good luck getting it fixed!
