If the system demands a URL (Uniform Resource Locator) this means you must have the PDF document stored somewhere on the web and provide the web address (URL)

Amazon changed the process for uploading documentation to your listing. They used to let you upload your PDF to their system. Now, as bookworkapril stated, you'll need to get your PDF uploaded to some location on the internet and then provide the URL (website address for simplicity sake) and put the URL address in the location field.

Once you do that, then you have to wait 7 business days for their review. If they accept the documentation (it meets all their guidelines) then it will magically appear in your listing. If not, you'll get an email saying it didn't post (but there's no specific explanation, you'll have to figure out what you did wrong.

If, after 7 days, nothing happens, then their process is broken and you have to open a support ticket and they will start to look at it after you work up to Level III support by explaining the documentation to everyone you talk to. Long story short, I had to open a support ticket, fought through 2-3 support people that were reading the same documentation I read and followed, and then received update emails every week for about 4-5 weeks saying they were working on it before it just suddenly appeared on my listing.

Nothing changed in their documentation, so my assumption is that the process is likely still broken. Hunker down and be prepared for a long wait. Finally took me about 10 weeks and I think someone just put it there manually.

Also, don't try to download their excel spreadsheet which would be used for multiple product uploads. You'll find that the documentation which states there is a column to put your URL in the spreadsheet, well, the spreadsheet won't have that column. That's broken too.

If you have a google id -- likely if you have gmail or use chrome -- upload your PDF to the Google Drive resource that google creates for all users.

Enter this url in your browser URL address bar:

drive.google.com

Click the upload file button. When it's uploaded, click the sharing option, and copy the sharing URL
