Child account access to VA
Hi
I am planning to hire a VA and give her child access to my account. the VA is from Pakistan. She will do the listing. I am just wondering if this is permissible on Amazon to give child access to VA (specially from Abroad).
I found some post, which is not in favor of doing this.
anyones help will be highly appreciated.
thank you

It's permissible.
Search the Forums for the dozens (or hundreds) of horror stories about accounts being banned after using a VA.
Just today there was another one -- quite creative actually --
search for "Amazon linked account deactivation." by
@inspire_good_service and see what THEIR 'service' did to them.
Your choice, your account, your risk. Choose wisely.

I personally won’t do it- but it’s is more base on my fears that factual experience. (But backup from the stories of other sellers talking about “deactivation due association account with ‘x’”.
I’d consider to pay this person ‘to teach me’ virtually- like zoom or whattsup video meeting while I study the seller university.
You will surprise is not that difficult, but a regarding experience while learning in taking care of your business.

Here is the info → Set and edit User Permissions.
As others have mentioned, proceed with caution. So many of these VAs don't know what they're doing and will end up damaging your Account, resulting in your selling privileges being suspended.
All the info you need is located under → Seller University. There are excellent modules and video tutorials that are fairly simple and easy to follow. Take your time to learn how Amazon works and policy; having a strong understanding and a good foundation will benefit you and your business long term.

Great sugestion form @Seller_Itu5QzRB1QppK..↓

Are you certain the person is qualified? Do you know the rules of selling on AMAZON? (Have you spent time on Seller University?) This platform can be mine-field for the experienced, never mind a newbie. Do you know enough to supervise the V.A.?
If the answer to these questions is no, @Seller_Itu5QzRB1QppK's suggestion has merit.
The inexperienced; the well-meaning are given no quarter on this platform!!

The brightest idea that works great to get your account suspended.
How many products do you have? List them yourself for the beginning. If you have a lot of products that means retail arbitrage that's trouble too.

it depends on the trust level. i have acquaintances in pakistan and have given child access to 2 VA's. everything going smooth for last two years.

aan Adult VA can mess up an account very quickly. A child one would probably set a world record for getting your account suspended.

Were are you located? The United States. Why would you use a service located in Pakistan? Why can't you do your own listing?

If you can't help but have a VA, you may consider providing an RDP for Amazon account access. A VA might be managing more than one account which may cause some trouble. Usually, child access doesn't cause issues unless the parent account is accessed from different locations. But it's better to be on the safe side. RDP or Anydesk works well for this purpose.

Can you do it? Yes.
Should you? Absolutely not. You are giving your proprietary info to another person. That person is even in another country. In addition to the risks associated with that, they might (let's be honest, they WILL) make a decision that will put your account in jeopardy and/or tarnish your brand. What legal/civil remedy do you have if things go south?
I'm going to sound like a jerk for saying this, but let's be brutally honest. If you're considering a VA you are either LAZY or CHEAP. Neither one will maintain or bring success.
